Peugeot 2008 comes to 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Main highlight of the 2008 crossover is that is has been built on a lengthened version of the 208 platform that makes it stand long at 4,160 mm lengthwise. It is 20 cm longer when compared to the 208 supermini.

Prior to its Geneva Motor Show debut in March 2013, Peugeot has revealed details pertaining to its 2008 small crossover designed to take on likes of Mini Countryman and Nissan Juke. The new model has been developed simultaneously in regions of Europe, China and Latin America.

Main highlight of the 2008 crossover is that is has been built on a lengthened version of the 208 platform that makes it stand long at 4,160 mm lengthwise. It is 20 cm longer when compared to the 208 supermini. The lengthened platform allows for a boot space of 360 liters. To enable a comfortable driving experience the small steering wheel design has been incorporated within this model. HUD, 7- inch Touchscreen integrated with Peugeot Connect Apps has been provided within this car. Cat eye headlights, new Peugeot grille and claws in tail lights are some added external features of the 2008 crossover. Airbags, electronic brake force distribution, anti skid regulation, electronic brake assist and traction control will be provided with the 2008 crossover.

Peugeot 2008 crossover will be powered by three variants (82PS, 110 PS and 130 PS) of a 1.2L three cylinder petrol engine and a 1.6L VT-i with a power output of 120 PS. It will also be available with two diesel engine variants 1.4L diesel (68 PS) and 1.6L diesel (92 PS and 115 PS)
