The official world premiere of Peugeot 2008 crossover is scheduled for 2013 Geneva Salon in March 2013, however photos of what one can expect are already doing the rounds on the internet. Once officially launched, this new crossover will compete with the likes of Nissan Juke, Skoda Yeti, Ford EcoSport and the Vauxhall Mokka.
It will bear close resemblance to the photos displayed. Its exteriors will measure 4,140 mm in length, 1,740 mm in width and though no engine details are yet revealed it is expected that the new 2008 will come in with both diesel and petrol options topped by a 1.6 liter turbocharged gasoline units rated for 154 hp.
The company has revealed that the upcoming 2008 crossover is aimed at a world audience and hence will be a joint collaboration between Peugeot stylists in Paris, Shanghai and Sao Paulo. Production will commence at the Mulhouse Plant in France later this year.
