Piaggio India launches apé City rickshaw with LPG/CNG/Petrol options
Piaggio India, the completely owned subsidiary of Italy’s Piaggio, has announced the launch of all new range of three wheeler – apé City rickshaw. This new range of three wheelers from Piaggio India will be offered in a choice of three fuel options – LPG/CNG/Petrol.
Piaggio apé City is a state of the art three wheeler, which offers never before seen features in the segment. This new three wheeler was launched earlier today in Mumbai.
Piaggio apé City is powered by a 3 valve 200 cc engine, which is being introduced in the three wheeler segment in India for the first time. Price of the LPG variant is at INR 1.10 lakhs, CNG is at INR 1.23 lakhs, and petrol version is priced at INR 1.25 lakhs. All prices here are ex-showroom, Maharashtra.
Power output and torque figures are not revealed, but Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL) claims that they are the best in its segment. The new Piaggio apé City is also 10% more efficient than the competition while acceleration has also been improved.
Piaggio is confident of the performance of their new three wheeler, which is why they offer 12-months/36000 km warranty and 4 free services.
