Ford Escape, compact crossover SUV has been named by Popular Mechanics as Inaugural Car of the Year among the 2013 Automotive Excellence Awards and is among the choice of 10 best vehicles. Escape is an affordable vehicle with a host of advantages where engine options, latest technology, affordable pricing, enhanced performance and enhanced fuel efficiency is concerned.

Escape is introduced with a new chassis which it shares with European Ford Kuga. It is roomier and has improved towing capacity of upto 3500 pounds. It has an all wheel drive system and is equipped with two turbocharged EcoBoost engines – a 178 hp 1.6 liter four cylinder engine and a 240 hp 2.0 liter powerhouse and is available in a choice of four model trims – Ford Escape S, SE, SEL and Titanium. Pricing is in $22,470 to $30,370 bracket with fuel efficiency at 22 to 30 mpg on city roads and highways respectively.

Ford Escape Titanium has full features which is what pushes price and character to compete with Audi Q5 and BMW X3. It possesses a 2.1 liter 231 hp turbo four cylinder engine and features include panoramic sun roof, MyFord Touch Infotainment system with navigation, rear view camera, blind spot detection and parking assist.
