Gemballa, the German tuner believes it when they say, shine on you crazy diamond. Now, the gold-splashed Mirage GT Gold Edition is passé, because here’s a crushed diamonds car finish. And there’s no hanky panky here because its real diamonds they’re talking about, not glass fragments, crystals, or metal pigments. Porsche tuning house Gemballa introduces diamond-based car coating that most obviously would be an ideal match for their Porsche sports cars with the ideal carbon fibre.

Gemballa went on to crush diamonds so minutely that they could be applied on the car in fluidic form so they could maintain their sparkle. In fact, the company noted that grinding stones into a fine powder helps improve shine because of the increased reflective facets of grounded diamonds.

There are no details about where the diamond finish application will feature but diamond’s carbon makeup would adorn a vehicle’s carbon fiber body work. The application can be made on a vehicle’s exterior, and interior.
