The next generation Volkswagen Touareg in the diesel version is now available in India for a starting price of Rs. 58.5 lakh (ex showroom Delhi)….
Roof rails, panoramic sun roof, 18 inch alloy wheels as also bi Xenon Headlights with daylight running LED lights completes the exterior package for this vehicle. The new Touareg is available in seven different colors: Pure White, Deep Black, Cool Silver metallic, Night Blue metallic, Graciosa Brown metallic, Galapagos anthracite metallic and Campanella White.
Leather upholstery, ornamental wood decorative inserts as also foot lamps coupled with appropriate entertainment system supports Mp3, Mp4 and CD changer; AC with four temperature control and 4 corner air suspension with electronic shock absorption control are some of the interior features of the new VW Touareg. Safety features like ABS, disc brakes, rear and front airbags as also electronic immobilizer and electronic stability control have been incorporated within the 2012 Touareg.

Volkswagen launches the all-new Touareg in India

Mumbai, September 26, 2012: Volkswagen, Europe’s largest car maker today announced the launch of the all-new Touareg.
The new generation Touareg will be available to customers in the diesel variant in automatic transmission, at Rs. 58.5 lakh ex showroom Delhi. Sales of the all-new Touareg will start from end of September.
The Touareg will be available as an FBU equipped with a 3 litre V6 TDI engine – the most powerful & efficient engine in its class – that delivers a maximum power of 245PS@3800-4400rpm and an impressive torque of 550NM@1750-2250rpm. The engine of the Touareg integrates a host of technologies aimed at delivering an optimal balance of performance, exceptional drivability on all terrains and a fuel mileage of 12.08 kmpl (ARAI certified).

The Touareg is equipped with 3Litre V6 TDI engine with a maximum power output of 245ps@3800-4400rpm and a maximum torque of 550 Nm @1750-2250 rpm with a 8 Speed automatic transmission.
