German Formula One Champion Vettel is in for some serious competition as drivers are keen to see that he does not retain his number one position in the upcoming World Rally Championships. Vettel has had a four year absence and as he makes his way back into the fold, there are competitors waiting to overthrow him from the number one position.

Among major contenders is Sebastien Loeb, an eight time champion and five time winner of WRC. He is number three in rankings and was short of 3000 points from overtaking Vettel in WRC last year in Sweden.

Loeb position is also being eyed by two other drivers Hirvonen and Latvala who are rivals waiting to overthrow Loeb who needs to adapt to a new vehicle and team to retain his position. With so much competition and rivalry at stake it needs to be seen who reigns supreme and who retains title at the upcoming events. It all rests in Vettel retaining his position and prohibiting his rivals from overthrowing him from the Castrol EDGE Rankings.
