Red Bull KTM Ajo Team has reason to celebrate as they have received a three way podium in the final race of Moto3 Grand Prix season held on Sunday at Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat, Valencia, Spain. Danny Kent of Britain came in first clocking 45:05:891 minutes while in number two spot was Sandro Cortese by a margin of 0.056 seconds and Zulfahmi Khairuddin in a margin of 0.114 seconds who came in third and also set a lap record.

With speculation rife about a tussle between Luis Salom of Kalex-KTM and Maverick Vinales of Honda in minor championship placings behind Cortese, it was Salom who finished behind Cortese in the Final Standings Moto3. Here Cortese received 325 points while Salom was on 214 points followed by Vinales with 207 points.

Rain and rough weather did not deter Cortest who was well in the lead throughout 20 of the 23 lap race, holding his position till the last corner. Though he kept his eyes on the screen and was confident of his position ahead of Danny Kent only to lose his position at the last moment when Danny got ahead of him at the last corner. KTM winnings also continue to the Manufacturers’ Standing finishing with 346 points and 40 points ahead of FTR Honda.
