Renault Brazil supplies fleet of Duster and Fluence to Military Police
Renault has supplied a total of 670 Duster SUVs and 150 Fluence to Brazilian Military Police to be used for both patrolling and policing. Renault Duster competes with Ford EcoSport in Brazil.
Renault Duster will be fitted with white interiors with black and yellow stickers to mark it as Paran City Police vehicles. These will also see red siren, antenna and special lighting system installed while a beacon and other police vehicle needs will also be incorporated in the design. Comfort and safety features will not be ignored and hence air conditioning, air bags, front power windows, power steering and seat adjustments will also be available. The Duster sold in Brazil is fitted with petrol engines. In Indian markets, Duster is also fitted with a 1.5 liter K9K turbo diesel engine offering both 85 bhp and 200 Nm and 110 bhp and 240 Nm.
