Renault Brazil supplies fleet of Duster and Fluence to Military Police

The Duster is a crowd puller in India and many international markets. It has managed to draw the attention of Brazilian Government who were searching a vehicle for its Military Police department. These 670 Duster SUV’s and 150 Fluence sedan’s will be part of a total of 1,220 vehicles to be supplied by Renault Brazil.

Renault Duster will be fitted with white interiors with black and yellow stickers to mark it as Paran City Police vehicles. These will also see red siren, antenna and special lighting system installed while a beacon and other police vehicle needs will also be incorporated in the design. Comfort and safety features will not be ignored and hence air conditioning, air bags, front power windows, power steering and seat adjustments will also be available. The Duster sold in Brazil is fitted with petrol engines. In Indian markets, Duster is also fitted with a 1.5 liter K9K turbo diesel engine offering both 85 bhp and 200 Nm and 110 bhp and 240 Nm.
