Renault Clio receives tuning treatment from German firm CAM SHAFT

The Renault Clio RS Mk3 is a compact hatchback and when coupled with the Nürburgring circuit, one can rest assured that the car will do its best to out do the rest in the category. The looks of this car have prompted German firm Cam Shaft to provide a tuning package for this car. This package is based on the Ring taxis.

The exteriors boast of a new matt graphite metallic finish which has been combined with random splashes of green to accentuate the look. A Sticker which reads ‘MOVERIGHT>>’ and an international crew logo are seen on this car. The interior area of this car has been transformed with the removal of the rear seat and boot area.

In place of this there is a roll cage structure that has been installed. The engine has been tuned to increase output from 197 hp to 222 hp. The engine also boasts of a reprogrammed ECU and a sports air filter from K&N. The original 17” wheels have been coated with green and dressed with tyres from Kumbo to provide superior performance on the track. The suspension of the car has been given a total makeover and a larger front braking system from Renault Megane R26R Mk2 has been provided.
