Renault Duster facelift interiors revealed along with new photos
Renault will reveal updated Dacia Duster SUV at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show this week. But before that, new images of the same have surfaced online, along with the first photo of the interiors. Renault had shown studio shots of Duster facelift last month, while these images seems to be clicked while out for photoshoot.
While exterior changes can be seen in the form of restyled front grille and headlights. Though the shape of headlights is same, it now features three casings, one of which is for the DRLs. To improve off-roading capabilities, there is 16″alloy on offer with Mud & Snow tyres. Front also features two chrome plated strips, and lower-set air intake. Rear changes are more subtle. It includes 4×4 badge, chrome plated tailpipe, and redesigned taillights.
On the inside, you see steering mounted controls, upgraded dashboard, chrome inserts on the handlebar, MediaNav touchscreen infotainment system (already on offer in Indian version current Duster). No news on updated powertrains was revealed. But, Renault might replace the existing 1.6l petrol option generating 110 hp with 1.2l turbocharged petrol unit offering 120 hp. This move will also be significant for Renault India, as the 1.2l engine will attract lower excise duty and in turn reduce cost or vehicle. More information to be revealed at the premier in Frankfury later this year.
