Ever since Dacia discontinued the Logan pick-up, there have been rumors floating about a Duster based pick-up. Though the model in image is fit for a production variant of the Duster pick-up, Auto Industry News reports that it is built by local coach-builder Romturingia. The builder specializes in transforming Dacia models into special vehicles. The prototype spotted on test is built to portray outstanding open loading area and better off roading capabilities.

Renault too is involved in this project, but in a limited capacity via their Technology Center in Romania. All they have provided to the coach-builder is technical support in order to develop the Duster pick-up. It is not yet clear, whether Renault/Dacia will enter this prototype in production or not, but as of now, it seems to be a worthy successor the the Logan pick-up.
