Renault Facebook fans cross 5 million: Captur impresses all

Renault Facebook pages, comprising of International and country specific pages, now have a total number of fans that surpass the 5 million mark. Renault India facebook fans are at 280,000. New Captur is liked by all.

Renault Facebook pages cross 5 million

Renault first opened its Facebook page in September 2009. Besides its international page, Renault has special ten theme pages for a range of fan basis to include sports, heritage and electric vehicles along with 50 country specific pages so as to ensure closer ties with web users. Renault has now announced that their total number of fans has crossed 5 million.

4,200 new fans are being added every month on the international page while the Renault Brazil page has a total of 1.5 million fans. The company adds to the excitement by offering on request photo sessions, major brand events, after sales advice and fun apps which include Macadam Fever game and Win a Twizy Weekend competition.

Social networks have recently gained in popularity among automobile fans and have become a major platform of communication between company and the public while at the same time maintaining a close relationship with customers.

Apart from this, Renault revealed their all new 4 meter compact crossover called Captur yesterday. This new car is yet to be revealed publicly, but images of the New Captur from Renault has definitely captured everybody’s attention.
