Renault India chutzpah takes a beating in September 2013, Duster sales decrease
Seeing Renault India September sales, one wonders if the Duster bubble has burst. Their sales torchbearer while still a leader within the brand, is facing stiff competition in its segment. Not so long ago, it seemed there was no competition whatsoever.
This equates to 13.53% sales decline for the month when compared to 5577 units sold by Renault India back in September 2012. In India, Nissan Terrano shares Duster’s platform is is ready for launch anytime now.
Last month, Renault and Indomobil signed an import and distribution agreement in Indonesia where PT Auto Euro Indonesia represents the automaker. Duster is the first vehicle launch under the new agreement with Koleos and Megane RS to follow later.
