Renault Scala, the premium A3 segment sedan has been successfully launched in Indian markets where it is available both in petrol and diesel variants. Renault need not worry immedeately about Scala sales fugures as numbers are expected to reach higher imits in the coming year. Scala is fitted with a host of safety features. Dual air bags for both driver and passenger seats, anti pinch power windows, front fog lamps, speed sensing, auto door lock are some of these features which will make occupants safe and sound. Besides safety, comforts of driver and passengers are also given top priority where the Scala is concerned. Competitive pricing is where the vehicle sees threat in terms of competition with the rebadged sedan seeming a tad bit costly.
Renault has also announced that they will be expanding their dealer networks throughout Odisha in the not too distant future. Prices of Renault Scala in Bhubaneswar range between Rs.6.99 lakhs for Scala RxE petrol variant to Rs.9.57 lakhs for Scala RxZ diesel variant. The Scala sedan followed the company’s Pulse hatchback, premium sedan Fluence, and utility vehicles Koleos and Duster launches. The 5 seater compact Renault Duster that was launched about 10 weeks ago has created an impressive footprint in terms of sales in the Indian auto market. Having launched 5 vehicles across segments in 18 months, Renault will not launch another vehicle anytime soon.
