Geneva Motor Show is scheduled for March 7-17, 2013 wherein Renault will be showcasing its new Renault Scénic XMOD. This compact MPV will be seen with Renaults new petal shaped headlamps surrounded with daytime running LEDs. Front and rear bumpers are also in a fresh new design while chrome finished roof bars are seen across the range.
Renault has fitted the upcoming XMOD with advanced grip Xtend traction control system which means that drivers will be offered an option of selecting three modes of driving in sand, mud and fresh snow. There is also an ‘Expert’ mode with extended grip offering drivers total control of engine torque. The ‘Ride’ mode provided traction control settings and the ‘Loose Ground’ mode optimizes braking control. Interiors are refreshed with aluminum capped pedals, gear levers and a flat bottomed steering wheel. Seats are upholstered in Alcantara leather while a Bose music system hogs the limelight.
The dashboard sports a fully connected Renault R Link touchscreen multimedia system with multi directional joystick controls within easy reach. There is also a TFT digital display present. On display at Geneva Motor Show next month, the vehicle will be immediately available for test drives after that.
