Maruti Alto is a slight above the Maruti 800 is produced smartly by Maruti Suzuki to keep the competition to the Hyundai Santro. Alto is a simple small car available in three variants Alto, Alto LX & Alto Lxi.
Outer impression:
The simple beauty is available in juicy colors & carries a decent Japanese design curves. The clear head lamp comes with manual focus leveling device & the tail lamps comes with clear focus too. The car rests on 145/80 R12 tires with a curved wheel rims which looks decent even if the wheel caps are absent. The car is stretched to 3.5 meters.
Ambience and theme:
The interiors are decent. The cluster comes with amber color illumination. On the road: The 3 cylinder 796cc engine runs on MPFI technology controlled by 32bit computer. The engine is capable of producing 47PS of Max Power & 62Nm Max. Torque. The engine is married to a 5 speed transmission. Only top end model comes with a power steering however all the Altos are equipped with security system.
