Rides on longest day of the year, June 21st Summer Solstice

Riderthon community built by & for riders, motorcycling clubs/ groups & bike enthusiasts explore riding culture of India. On World Motorcycle Day on June 21st, 2014, Riderthon will celebrate with WMD Half Summit and United Brotherhood Ride with their theme ‘Respect & Safety’ of women.

Riderthon WMD Half Summit will see riders get on the road on the longest day of the year, June 21st, the Solstice to ride to Rohtang Pass, Himachal Pradesh as India’s first and only riding festival to the Himalayas. The Summit starts from Delhi on June, 20 and ends in Manali on June, 22, 2014. Brotherhood Ride will see participation of 600+ CC motorbikes only on 21st June, 2014 at Delhi.

Riderthon riders will spread the message of ‘Respect & Safety’ of women in India apart from contributing to conservation and projection of natural heritage.

WMD Half Summit is being hosted since 2012. This year the riders group will also celebrate World Music Day as Riderthon brings a lineup of emerging talent from India and Nepal. The group will also camp at Old Manali.

Brotherhood Ride has been held on the World Motorcycle Day since 2011 and has grown from a single club (20 super bikes) to 375+ superbike participants in 2013.
