Aniket Vardhan is an industrial design teacher, an Indian by birth and is a biking enthusiast at heart. He has built the 998cc Royal Enfield Musket V-Twin that sees the use of two 499cc cast iron cylinders which takes things to a new level with displacement of 40% more capacity than his previously built 700cc engine.

Aniket has retained the retro look of the engine design adding some chrome accents while engine block, gearbox and clutch continue to be housed independently. Its V-Twin engine uses most of the standard Royal Enfield parts such as engine head, cylinder and pistons while its neutral finder gets a right shifting gear level with brakes to the left which also adds to its retro appearance.

To ensure success in this feat, Aniket first created wooden patterns and then cast the engine case in metal which underwent stages of refinement and polishing to emerge as the all powerful 998cc Musket.Watch the video below and listen to the thump.
