Ford Endeavour All Terrain Edition launched for INR 23.20 lakhs
Ford is working diligently towards growth in India, and new vehicle launches, variants, and increased dealerships is the focus. They have announced the launch of new Endeavour variant, while the launch of EcoBoost is awaited.
Base model of Ford Endeavour is priced from INR 19.11 lakhs. The new Endeavor All Terrain Edition for the Indian auto market is priced from INR 23.20 lakhs. The new variant of Endeavour sports a 3.0 liter TDCi diesel engine offering 156 PS power at 3200 rpm and 380 Nm torque at 2500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed automatic transmission with power directed to all four wheels. Ford is working diligently towards growth in India, and new vehicle launches, variants, and increased dealerships is the focus.
Just last week, Ford India opened 2 new dealerships. Ford India and National Geographic Channel will launch a brand new show on 19th February 2013. While dates are available for most of Ford’s activities in India, the Ford EcoSport EcoBoost comapct SUV India launch date is still as elusive. However one may take heart in the fact that the vehicles are now being shown at select dealerships, spyshots and sighting have increased, and bookings too are being entertained. In regards to the Ford Endeavour, this variant is the second special edition of Endeavor which the company has launched after Endeavor Hurricane.
It is available with a host of features which include a new grille, well designed headlights with chrome accents, 16” alloy wheels and scuff plates under its doors. Interiors are seen in a two toned effect in beige while it also includes steering mounted audio controls, auto power windows and a well designed dash board. Endeavor sports a reverse parking camera and touch screen GPS which also doubles up as a screen with using the DVD player.
Safety is of prime importance in this day and age, and hence additional airbags are being offered on the new Endeavor. The special 4×4 All Terrain Edition is expected to go great guns in the Indian SUV market even as the company is concentrating on the Endeavor’s younger sibling – the EcoSport.
