Launch price Rs 92.90 lakhs for 2013 BMW 7 Series facelift
BMW India launched the all new 7 Series facelift sedan for a base price of Rs 92.90 lakhs, while the top variant is priced at Rs 1.73 crores. A total of four variants of 2013 7 Series will be on offer, they include 1 diesel and 3 petrol.
At the launch in Mumbai today, BMW India also revealed that the diesel variant of new 7 Series, 730Ld will be manufactured locally at their plant in Chennai, whereas, the remaining three petrol variants will be offered as CBUs.
2013 BMW 7 Series 730 Ld is powered by a TwinPower Turbo six cylinder in-line diesel engine combining Common Rail Direct Injection and turbocharger with variable turbine geometry, which delivers 258 hp and 560 Nm torque. It does a 0-100 kmph in 6.2 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph. Power is transmitted via the new 8 speed automatic gearbox. Drive modes include, Eco Pro, Comfort, Sport and Sport+.
Internationally, BMW 7 Series is offered in two diesel engine options, 3 petrol and 1 hybrid. More information on the features of the new 7 Series can be found in the official release below. Image gallery from the launch even in Mumbai will be added soon. Stay tuned.
