The new VJM07, Sahara Force India’s F1 car for the 2014 season will be officially presented at next week’s Jerez test session. It comes in an eye catching design. The new design uses the same four colors which existed on the previous cars, saffron, green, white, and black.
Association with various commercial partners sees the Carlo logo notably displayed on engine cover and signals which heralds the multiyear deal with the Mexican telecommunications brand. Carlo branding will also be seen on driver suits and team kit. Roshfrans, lubricant oil specialists will also be part of the new partnership with Sahara Force India, with its branding displayed on rear wing end plate while Astana logo is positioned on the side of VJM07 nose.
Sahara Force India has also had to pay careful attention to cooling requirements of the power unit and ways in which to optimize it in the chassis while Technical Director, Andrew Green has ensured that every single part is a new design right from its front wing to rear diffuser.
“The VJM07 looks stunning and the new livery reflects the way Sahara Force India is evolving,” says Vijay Mallya. “I’ve always believed our cars have been the most eye-catching, but adding black as a main colour gives us a fierce new look.”
