Salman Khan faces 10 years in a 2002 case involving his Toyota Land Cruiser
Salman Khan’s 2002 hit and run case has come back to haunt the actor. Set to face upto 10 years in jail if convicted over allegations that he was the one at the wheel and rammed his car into a group of homeless people sleeping on the footpaths of Mumbai, the actor’s family has come out to support the actor in his hour of need.
The family is of the opinion that there are a host of inaccuracies surrounding the case. They allege that media reports could damage the actor and put the case in jeopardy due to which they have decided to put all the facts of the accident on the table.
Spokesperson for the actor has stated that a special website called salmankhanfiles.com has been created where in all information pertaining to the case are mentioned. Those interested in following up the case can also receive regular updates therein.
The actor has appealed to fans and media to update themselves on the facts mentioned therein. It may be recalled that one person was killed and four others were seriously injured when the Toyota Land Cruiser, allegedly driven by Khan crushed a group of persons sleeping on the pavement outside a bakery in Bandra, Mumbai on 28th September 2002.
