Scania Metrolink HD 48-seater for KPN Travels in South India
Earlier in January, Chairman and MD of KPV Travels India Ltd, Mr. KP Natarajan, and his grandson Sharvesh were handed the first intercity bus keys from MD, Scania Commercial Vehicles India, and Senior Vice President Scania Group , Anders Grundströmer.
Headquartered at Salem, KPN Travels India Limited has been in the business since four decades, having grown to become one of the leading bus operators.

Scania Metrolink HD 48-seater is a 14.5-metre high-capacity 6×2 model featuring 48 semi-sleeper seats, that runs on Scania 13-litre 410 hp Euro 3 engine, and Scania Opticruise 8-speed automated gear changing. The third axle is hydraulically steered for easy maneuvering. Interiors are made of fire retardant materials and comply with roll over standards to keep the passengers safe.
KPN has chosen Scania as its transportation partner, and in the next few months KPN Travels India will have more Scania Metrolink HD added to their fleet.
