SIAM ACG fighting fake through Facebook and Twitter
SIAM’s online initiative at Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2014 is going all the way to make visitors aware of counterfeit spare part market. SIAM’s Anti-Counterfeiting Group (ACG) has introduced a multitude of activities. ‘Say it with a slogan’ helps the group connect with a young and tech savvy audience.
Through Auto Expo 2014, SIAM is engaging with visitors via three ‘#SIAMFightingFake’ kiosks, each of which have an interactive tablet with Social Media integration to engage visitors in the campaign.
Fake parts used in power trains and drive line leads to excessive wear and tear and drop in fuel efficiency due to frictional losses. And let’s not forget emissions that could increase by about 10% to 15%.
