SIAM ACG fighting fake through school paintings and pledge wall

SIAM fighting fake initiatives have engaged a considerable number of Auto Expo 2014 visitors who shared their slogan against ‘fake’. The best slogans were rewarded on the spot. ACG kiosks received an overwhelming response with over 3000 people sharing their slogans against fake, and liking SIAM fighting fake Facebook page.

Paintings and drawings based on Real and Fake theme were received by the painting competition held by SIAM Anti-Counterfeiting Group (ACG) at different schools in Delhi and Bombay. Entry’s have been pinned to one wall at each kiosk. Dance performances based on Anti-Counterfeiting theme was staged in the entertainment zone on 8th and 9th February 2014.

3 pledge walls were placed opposite Hall 1, Hall 14 and main entrance respectively. This was to motivate visitors to use genuine spare parts for their vehicle and create awareness around fake spare parts. CEO pledge wall was signed by senior officials from various exhibitors at Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2014.

Names from the automotive industry included Chairman of SIAM ACG Mr.Rajesh Bagga, and Co Chairman Mr.R.S.Kalsi , Mr.Vinnie Mehta, Executive Director, ACMA, ISUZU president Mr.Takashi Kikuchi, Mr.Ravi Pisharody, Head of commercial Vehicles, TATA Motors, and more.
