2013 Skoda Octavia launched in the UK from £15,990

Octavia petrol engine will be a 1.2 liter TSI offering 105 PS power while diesel variant will come in with a 1.6 liter TDI CR with same power and performance, though auto emissions are pegged at 99 g/km. Octavia will be offered in a choice of two petrol and two diesel engines while the new model also comes in with 102 kg loss of weight. This will in turn contribute to improved fuel and auto emissions.

The new eco Greenline model is scheduled for later this year which will be fitted with a 1.6 liter TDI CR engine offering 110 PS power and will give 83 mpg and auto emissions of 89 g/km. Skoda Octavia will be offered in a choice of three trim levels – S, SE and Elegance, all of which will see the best of standard equipment and safety features. These will include Front Assistant, Driver Activity Assistant, Lane Assistant, Driver Alert while City Emergency Braking is available on the Octavia for the first time.

The new Octavia will be offered in a total of 12 exterior paint colors. These will include Candy White, Corrida Red, and Pacific Blue being three solid colors while Topaz Brown, Race Blue, Steel Grey, Brilliant Silver, Denim Blue, Rosso Brunello, Cappuccino Beige, and Petrol Blue to Black Magic with pearl effect will be non metallic options.
