Spied: New Bajaj Pulsar 180 NS or 375 NS or improved 200 NS with FI?
Bajaj has already confirmed that they will be launching two new variants of Pulsar in the Indian bike market. But, what they have not revealed, is that what will be these models, or what it will be powered by.
Now, what is this new Pulsar variant? There is no certain answer to this, all we can do is speculate. Considering Bajaj already has a 200 NS out in the market with triple spark combustion technology, this one can be a refined variant of the same. Like adding liquid cooling and Fuel Injection (FI). But what purpose would this serve in a price conscious market.
If Bajaj is planning on offering 200 NS with FI, it will come with a price increase, and probably cost the same as KTM Duke 200. And considering that KTM is marketed as a premium brand as compared to Bajaj Pulsar, buyers might not throng onto the new 200 NS with FI. The second option is a 180 NS. This will be good. It can co-exist with the current Pulsar 180 or can even replace it.
The third option, is that this is the Duke 390 based 373cc liquid cooled engine powered Pulsar 375. This too is a good possibility as we are not sure whether the 375 will be launched with a fairing or not or both. Earlier spy shots had revealed the Pulsar 375 with fairing, but offering a 375 NS will also add to the numbers of Bajaj, just like the Pulsa 200NS and Duke 200.
