Hyundai is all set to launch the 2011 i10 in the Indian market. The country's second largest car manufacturer is claiming the new i10 will have the most advanced 1.2L engine in India. The new improved 1.2L Kappa engine will have variable valve timing in order to facilitate better mileage, lower emissions and better response.
The new engine will also give the 2011 i10 2 bhp more than its predecessor. Hyundai will also launch the new i10 with an automatic option, which will make i10 the second small car in the country to do so after Maruti A-Star. Hyundai will not be launching any diesel engine but will continue with the less powerful 1.1L petrol engine. No major changes to the exterior or the interior are expected.
