Spy Shots: Audi R8 fascia

A new image has appeared over the internet which potentially looks like the front body of new Audi R8. According to sources, the image shown above was spied by a worker at the Audi manufacturing unit in Germany.

Audi R8 supercar has been in the market for quite some time now and it is about time that Audi upgraded their top of the line supercar. Audi R8’s new fascia features a new hexagonal grille and a new set of headlights. We have to say that Audi designers have done a commendable job here.

Apart from minor cosmetic changes, we do not expect any major changes to be made to the new R8 sportscar. Audi will install the same sets of V8’s and V10’s in the next version of Audi R8 which is expected to arrive in the European market later this year.

Reports also suggest that Audi has been testing hybrid variants of R8 which are powered by comparatively smaller engines, 2.5L and 3.0L. All the variants of R8 feature the trademark all wheel drive technology from Audi called Quattro.
