Hyundai will reveal price of Eon on the same day as its launch. Reports over the internet suggest that the response for the new Hyundai Eon is tremendous and that Hyundai has already dispatched approximately 7,000 units of Eon to their dealerships around the country. This will be the first batch of Eon small car’s which will be probably delivered to customers on the 13th October itself.
Hyundai Eon is expected to have a huge impact on the Indian auto industry as it will be competing with India’s bestselling car, Maruti Suzuki Alto. Maruti sells approximately 30,000 units of Alto small car every month in India. If Hyundai Eon manages to get even half the number of sales Alto gets, Hyundai Motors will be easily strengthening their position in the Indian car market. Only the next few months will make it clear how Hyundai’s future in India fares.
