Stingray without a stinger, maybe Maruti Suzuki WagonR will grille and box you
The Suzuki Wagon R has now been around in auto markets for about 20 years since it first saw the road. In India, the quintessential recreation hatchback as today brought in a new avatar, the Stingray. The tall boy wagon now sees noticeable exterior changes, most visibly a chrome-finished grille.
And while there’s no clarity why Suzuki adopted the name StingRay, at any point a mention of it certainly steers redaers to the thought of Corvette. Maruti Wagon R was launched back in December 1999. Over the years ther have been upgrades, and in 2010, 2nd gen was ushered in. With power from the K series engine, Maruti has been attemting to reinhvent WagonR, but not much has changed on the outside, as the car re3mains boxy even after today’s launch. The new Maruti Suzuki StingRay is available in 3 variants- LXi, VXi, VXi (O) at a price of Rs 4.10 lakh, 4.38 and 4.67 lakh respectively
