Maruti Ciaz interiors spied, rear legroom better than Honda City?
Suzuki Alivio is spied in China along with its predecessor SX4. Suzuki Alivio will be launched in India as Maruti Ciaz, likely next month. Suzuki Alivio Concept was showcased at 2014 Beijing Motor Show in April , launch is pending in China. Maruti Ciaz Concept was premiered at 2014 Delhi Auto Expo in February.
Since then, spy shots of Suzuki Alivio and Maruti Ciaz have been surfacing online with and later without camouflage. We recently saw spy shots of a fleet of Maruti Ciaz parked in Manesar plant. They revealed exteriors, features and colours. New spy photo of Alivio reveals interiors and difference in exteriors of Indian and Chinese models.
Suzuki Alivio bears chrome front grille with horizontal slats of different form than those seen in Maruti Ciaz. While headlight unit with projector lamp is similar in these two models, fog lamps of Alivio get chrome stylish inserts. At rear end, Suzuki Alivio gets slightly tweaked reflectors and chrome accents partially encasing it. Chinese version of SX4 replacement gets dual exhausts and sunroof.
Interiors of Suzuki Alivio looks posh with glossy wooden trims on dual tone (beige and black) dashboard, chrome surrounds on AC vents, gear assembly and centre console controls. Footwell seems to be spacious. All door pockets have large map pockets and bottle holders.
Rear seat gets centre arm rest, cup holders on same and dedicated AC vent. Highlight is its vast legroom, same would be seen in Maruti Ciaz, competing tightly with Honda City and Nissan Sunny.
