It was officially confirmed today that Suzuki along with its Indian partner Maruti would launch Kizashi in India.

American Suzuki Motor Corp (Automotive Marketing and Public Relations) Vice-President Gene Brown said, “The Kizashi is going to be sold in India. I do not think the launch in India is that far in the future”.

He however denied to give a confirmed date or pricing details. RushLane had earlier confirmed that Kizashi would be sold at a price of Rs. 12 lakhs in India.

Maruti-Suzuki put Kizashi on display at Auto Expo 2010.

The car will compete in D segment and will sport 18 inch alloy wheels, 2.4 AWD engine and 425 Rockford fosgate audio system with iPod and bluetooth connectivity.
