Made in India Suzuki Let’s launched in Nepal
Made in India Suzuki Let’s automatic scooter is now launched in Nepal at an introductory starting price of NPR 1.57 lakhs (approx INR 98,184). At the launch event in Kathmandu, former Miss Nepal Sadikchhya Shrestha was present as a honorary guest.
Powered by a 112.8 cc engine, Suzuki Let’s was launched in India earlier this year for a starting price of INR 46,925, ex-showroom Chennai. As it is imported into Nepal as a CBU, the price in Nepal is more than double at about INR 98,184.
In Nepal, VG Automobiles is the official partner of Suzuki Motorcycles India who has the sole rights to import and distribute Suzuki vehicles in Nepal. At the launch of Let’s in Nepal, Suzuki India’s Zonal manager, Mr Jitendar Singh Rathore was also present.
Designed for both men and women riders in the age bracket of 18-25, the new Suzuki Let’s features SEP â€“ Suzuki Eco Performance technology which claims to deliver an unmatched mileage of 63 kmpl. Weighing 98 kgs, peak power output stands at 8.7 hp @ 7,500 rpm and peak torque stands at 9 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. Other features include maintenance free battery, 90/100-R10 tubeless tyres, 5.2 liter fuel tank, multi reflector headlight, trendy look, mobile charger, and a comfortable seat.
Suzuki expects to sell about 5,000 units of Let’s scooter in Nepal this year. Available in five attractive colour options, Suzuki Let’s will compete with Yamaha Ray and Honda Activa i in Nepal.
