Suzuki Swift hatch X-TRA edition to lure German car buyers

Suzuki Swift small car, which is also sold in India under Maruti Suzuki badge, is launched in a new special edition version. This new Swift special edition is launched to attract buyers into company showrooms in Germany. The new special edition will be based on the five door Swift Club and will be offered in striking color options of Galactic Gray Metallic, Cosmic Black Pearl Metallic, Cool White Pearl Metallic, Ablaze Red Pearl Metallic and Silky Silver Metallic besides Bison Brown Metallic.

Fitted with new 16” alloy wheels, the X-TRA will also be seen with a new roof spoiler, tinted windows, seven air bags, air conditioning with pollen filter. Infotainment features will include an MP3 compatible CD radio with steering wheel controls and USB port.

Suzuki Swift X-TRA is fitted with a 1.2 liter petrol engine offering 94 hp power while fuel consumption is at 5.0 liters per 100 km (20 kmpl) and auto emissions are at 116g/km. Available in showrooms across Germany with prices starting from €14,290 (US$18,800 or Rs 10.24 lakhs). Swift X-TRA limited edition version is expected to be more attractive to German customers who are on the lookout for additional comforts, enhanced looks and better performance.
