Suzuki Swish 125 gets minor update and new colours
Following launch of competitor Honda Activa 125 in India, Suzuki Motors is updating the Suzuki Swish 125cc scooter giving it a makeover with a revamped instrument cluster and new body graphics.
Glass Sparkle Black, Candy Antares Red, Metallic Sonic Silver, Pearl Glacier White and Metallic Triton Blue are the new colors in which Suzuki Swish 125 are being offered. Instrument cluster, though fully analogue, has received some innovative modifications.
Suzuki Swish 125 is powered by a 124cc, four stroke, single cylinder engine offering peak power of 8.5 bhp and 9.8 Nm torque. Power is transmitted to rear wheels via a CVT gearbox. However, unlike the Activa 125, Swish 125 does not receive disc brakes as an option but receives a combined braking system.
Competing with Honda Activa 125, Swish 125 is more reasonably priced at INR 57,271 â€“ on road Mumbai, while Honda Activa 125 is priced at INR 62,276 on road Mumbai. To take competition with Honda a step higher, Suzuki also introduced the new 110 cc Letâ€™s to compete head on with Activa 110cc. Besides updating the Swish 125, Suzuki is also planning to update their other models such as Access 125, GS 150R and Slingshot Plus with each of these models receiving cosmetic changes and mechanical updates.
