Suzuki SX4 seen in a new avatar at 2013 Geneva Motor Show

The new SX4 compact crossover here, measures 4,300 mm in length and 1,765 mm in width. It stands 1,575 mm in height and is situated on a longer wheelbase measuring 2,600mm as against the 2,500 mm wheelbase seen on its earlier model.

These enhanced dimensions in turn result in additional interior space and more boot space which was seen as a major detriment in the earlier model. The boot space on the new model is of 430 liters, clearly head and shoulders above the 270 liter boot space seen earlier.

Petrol and diesel engine options are being offered and consists of two 1.6 liter gasoline engines based on M16A while the diesel engine is offered with variable geometry turbo charging, mated to a five speed manual and six speed respectively. Sales commence across European markets and since Suzuki is out of the picture in US markets, the SX4 will not be available for American buyers.
