As you can see in the image below, the bike was on display at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. Offering a rugged off-roader look, the Suzuki V-Storm 1000 ABS is 2285 mm tall, 865 wide and 1410 mm tall. It is a light-weight sportsbike (at just 228 kgs), which can be used as a tourer. The 20 liter fuel tank ensures you don’t need to stop much for refueling, especially when the company claims a mileage of 25 kmpl.
Offered in two color options in India – Pearl Glacier White and Candy Daring Red, the Suzuki V-Storm 1000 ABS features traction control system (two modes), oil damped suspension (front and rear), handlebar grip heaters (for touring in extreme climate), 12 V DC socket to charge your phone on the go, adjustable seat position, and luggage carry points.
To be brought in India via the CBU route, the Suzuki V-Storm 1000 ABS deliveries will commence by the end of this month. To cater to a very exclusive segment of bikers in India, Suzuki India does not expect to generate numbers in sales. It will compete with the likes of BMW R1200GS.
