Ashok Leyland posted their sales figures for April 2010 today, which remarkably have increased threefold when compared to the sales figures of April 2009. Ashok Leyland sold 6,500 units in April 2010 compared to just 1,750 units sold in April 2009. Expansion in plans for Leyland: 3K crore expansion in sight

Nissan to collaborate with Ashok Leyland for a $5,000 car

After partnership with Bajaj and Renault for manufacturing an ultra low cost car, Nissan, is all set to make an agreement with Ashok Leyland for developing a small car for the global market to be priced around $4500-$5000 (about Rs 2.25 lakhs-2.50 lakhs). Ashok Leyland to increase prices by 15%

Ashok Leyland has announced a hike of 15% in the vehicles prices from April once the new emission norms come into the effect. The company will have to upgrade its vehicles to comply with BS emission norms and thus the upgrading will result in increase in prices.
