In what could be termed as a rather expensive pileup, an Aston Martin (MH-01-BK-99) registered to Reliance Ports rammed into two cars on Mumbai’s Pedder Road in the early hours of Sunday morning. The supposed driver of the car escaped from the scene, only to present himself at Gamdevi Police Station 12 hours later. The expensive crash and pileup included an Audi and Hyundai Elantra.

A Vanquish Coupe dressed in the unmistakable Union Jack-inspired livery of the UK Government’s GREAT Britain campaign moved on at a pace of 3mph as half a million spectators looked on.

The list sees Apple in a top spot followed by Aston Martin and Rolex in second and third place respectively. This means that British car maker, Aston Martin is the coolest automotive brand in the UK. The next in the list comes Mercedes Benz on the 11th spot.
Daimler AG’s Mercedes-AMG GmbH Aston Martin technical partnership entails supply agreements for engines and Electric/Electronic (E/E) components. The arrangement sees Daimler receive up to 5% equity (non-voting shares) in Aston Martin without cash consideration in several steps.

Aston Martin celebrated its 100th anniversary on January 15, 2013. Celebrating this milestone, the company announced 100 examples of each of its model lines and also landed the 2013 Vanquish atop the Burj Al Arab via helicopter.
