Recently spotted BMW M3 sedan and M4 coupe in India were very evident signs of things to come. BMW has announced all-new BMW M3 and BMW M4 launch in India on 26th November, 2014.
Philipp Von Sahr, President of BMW India, earlier announced the company’s interests to bring ‘M’ series models – 2015 BMW M3 sedan and M4 coupe, here this year. First set of spy shots have emerged, suggesting launch is near. Will they go on sale by Diwali?
BMW’s two exclusive models, M3 sedan and M4 coupe have been officially introduced in Malaysia. The four door BMW M3 sedan is priced at RM 738,800 (Rs 1.39 crores) while the two door BMW M4 Coupe has a price tag of RM 748,800 (Rs 1.41 crores). These are on road prices for the M3 while M4 prices include BMW service and repairs.
Dr. Ian Robertson addressed the media at NAIAS 2014 saying, “Good morning and welcome to BMW! What a sound! What great cars. It’s cars like this which make BMW so successful, especially here in the US! Ludwig, you had a great year in 2013.”
Slated to make its official debut early next year, the two new BMW cars will receive a turbocharged 3.0 liter six cylinder engine offering 424 hp and 500 Nm torque which will come in to take the place of its existing 4.0 liter V8 engine offering 414 hp and 400 Nm torque. Both BMW M3 sedan and M4 Coupe will share the same platform and a large number of components.
RS Racingteam has revealed their new BMW M3 sedan which comes in with an RS-M3 program. The vehicle will be powered by a 4.0 liter V8 engine, now offering output of 450 hp at 8300 rpm while torque will stand at 431 Nm at 4100 rpm.
