London: Tata Communications’ technology innovation quest saw it become the first company to deliver a live 4K feed from a Formula 1 event. The feat was accomplished during practice session at Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix with live footage delivered end-to-end over Tata Communicationsâ€™ Global Video Connect Network, to F1 Managementâ€™s (FOM) Tech HQ in Biggin Hill, UK.

Singapore Airlines has signed an agreement with the Formula One Group to be Title Sponsor of Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. This year’s event will be named 2014 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix (hashtag #F1SIASGP) and is scheduled for 19 to 21 September at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
