Ford isn’t really a quick responder to evolving market demands in India, but if the company thinks its time to put the next-gen Figo on a dressing chair and turn it into a crossover, this is probably how the car would end up looking like.
Ford Figo hatchback has been selling moderately at 1,500 units on an average in the past six months, and interestingly, sales was increasing in between (in October 2014 over 1,710 units were sold).
Of the many new car launches slated for 2015, here are three most anticipated hatchbacks that will hit showrooms by mid-2015 – 2014 Honda Jazz, all-new Tata Bolt and 2015 Ford Figo.
Ford has announced plans to introduce a new generation Figo hatchback and sedan in India by 2015. These new cars will be replacing the existing Figo hatchback and Classic sedan in the country.
Delhi: Ford Figo’s new look comprises of enhanced exteriors and interiors. Smoky Stealth finish exterior styling elements span 14″ alloy wheels, fog lamp bezels, and rear bumper valance. A sleek-looking chrome Signature fender badge and turn indicators on power mirrors are also included.

India bound Ford Figo hatchback was officially launched in Brazil at a starting price of 35,390 BRL, which as per today’s currency conversion rates, is about Rs 9.5 lakhs. Called Ford Ka in Brazil, the hatchback is launched with only one engine option, which can run on both petrol and ethanol.
