Come August and 13 Harley owners from India will participate in the The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. In its 74th edition (4-10 August 2014), Harley Davidson riders from India marks their maiden participation.
Harley-Davidson owner group’s in India are set to participate in the World Ride 2014 on June 22-23. Started in 2008 by Harley Owners Group (HOG) as Million Mile Monday, the event grew to a 2 day Harley-Davidson World Ride in 2012.
Harley-Davidson India today announced a new dealership facility in the Delhi NCR region, Capital Harley-Davidson, the largest in North India. This is the 2nd dealership in Delhi NCR, after its Vasant Kunj showroom. It is the 2nd destination dealership in India after Seven Islands Harley-Davidson’s expansion in Navi Mumbai. Located on NH-8, Capital Harley-Davidson is on Plot no. 26, Sector 34, Gurgaon. Spread over 18000 sq. ft., it features a 4000 sq. ft. customer lounge and event space.
About 12% of US motorcycle owners now are women. That’s an increase of about 30% over the last decade as per an estimate by Motorcycle Industry Council. Harley-Davidson is the top-selling motorcycle brand among women in the US having sold more new on-road motorcycles to women in here than all other brands combined in 2013.
Harley-Davidson and Marvel Entertainment are teaming up yet again in bringing fans of both brands together in seeking candidates to join Captain America as “Agent 1″, and star in a brand-new digital franchise. The new development introduces a new chapter of action to feature a group of characters created by Marvel’s Custom Division exclusively for Harley. Of course the new Harley-Davidson Street 750 will feature too. The mini-movie and digital comic debuts in Marvel and Harley-Davidson online and social channels this summer.
