Despite a late monsoon, it seems commercial vehicle sales hasn’t been dismal for automakers. Both Mahindra trucks and Eicher trucks and buses have reported a positive sales outcome for September 2014.
Mahindra Two Wheelers (MTWL) sales for June 2014 stood at 15,463 units. Domestic sales stood at 14,389 units for June 2014 over 7,849 units in June 2013 equating to 83% sales growth. Exports for June stood at 1,074 units.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.â€™s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) continues to lead the Indian tractor industry through FY 2013â€“14. For the 12 month period, domestic sales stood at 257270 units, as against 211596 units during FY2012-13. Cumulative tractor sales (domestic + exports) during the financial year stood at 267634 units when compared to 223885 units for the same period last year.
Mahindra & Mahindra Limited have announced domestic and export sales figures for the month of November 2013. Their auto sector registered a 18% decline in sales, tractor sales registered 13% growth, while two wheeler sales grew by 126%.
Mahindraâ€™s Farm Equipment Sector has revealed their sales figures for the month of October 2013. During the past month overall tractor sales stood at 37,532 units, up 30% as compared to 28,872 units sold during the month of October 2012.
Mahindra & Mahindra, leading auto and farm equipment manufacturers in the country have launched a 15 HP tractor called Yuvraj 215. Launched in Pune at a price of INR 1,81,000, the tractor is ideally suited for small farmers and has a haulage capacity of 1.5 tonnes.
Mahindra and Mahindra Limited have reported increased tractor sales during the month of July 2013. During the past month the company sold a total of 17,771 units in domestic markets resulting in a 15% growth as compared to 15,495 units sold in July 2012.
