Mahindra Two Wheelers and Peugeot Motocycles have entered into a new alliance in which MTWL acquires 51% stake in PMTC.
Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL) sales for July 2014 stood at 13,659 units. When compared to 14,612 units sold through July 2013, MTWL reports 6.5% sales decline in July 2014.
Mahindra Two Wheelers have plans for launch of four new products during this year while strategies also include increase in export market count from 11 to 15 by end 2014. With four new products to include a scooter, bike and variants of existing products, the company also expects to see exports increase three fold over the period of next six months.
Mahindra Two Wheelers (MTWL) sales for June 2014 stood at 15,463 units. Domestic sales stood at 14,389 units for June 2014 over 7,849 units in June 2013 equating to 83% sales growth. Exports for June stood at 1,074 units.
Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL) sales stood at 16824 units during May 2014. MTWL domestic sales stood at 15878 units during May 2014 as against 6858 units during May 2013, equating to 131% sales growth.
Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL) sold 15845 units during April 2014. Domestic sales stood at 14896 units during April 2014, as against 5367 units sold during April 2013. Exports for the month stood at 949 units.
Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL) has inaugurated its new Mumbai dealership, ‘SM Auto’. Spread over 3,300 sq. ft., it includes a 1,700 sq. ft. showroom and a 1,600 sq. ft. workshop. Located in Goregaon West, SM Auto is the 42nd dealership in Maharashtra and further strengthens Mahindra Two Wheelers retail presence in this region.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.) reports March 2014 auto sales numbers of 51,636 units. Passenger Vehicles segment (UVs and Verito) sold 23,433 units in March 2014. When compared with 25,847 units sold during March 2013, this equates to 9% sales decline. Domestic sales stood at 48,490 units during March 2014, as against 49,225 units during March 2013.
