Nissan India has opened its Sales and Marketing Headquarters in Mumbai, inaugurated by Takashi Hata, Senior Vice President Nissan Motor Co., Ltd and Chairman of Nissan’s Africa, Middle East and India region. Located in the Equinox Business Park, Kurla (west), it spans 17,000 square foot area and is Nissan’s second largest office in India. Of Nissan’s current 200-strong workforce, to begin with 50 staff will be based in Mumbai to create a sales, marketing and dealer management activity hub. Around 150 employees are expected to work here by year end.

Nissan has partnered with St. Jude Country Music Marathon & ½ Marathon in Nashville on Saturday, April 26. The partnership between Nissan and the race includes presenting sponsorship of the half-marathon. The 2014 Nissan Rogue will be in use as an official Marathon pace car, one of 20 Nissan support vehicles.
