Porsche India announced the launch of new Porsche 911 Targa 4 and 911 Targa 4S today. Price starts from Rs 1.59 crores.
With the growing sales seen in the luxury SUV market in the country and positive response to the Porsche Cayenne, luxury sports car makers Porsche have launched a Special Edition Cayenne in India priced at INR 86.50 lakhs (ex-Delhi).

Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition has been launched in India. Named â€˜Platinum Editionâ€™ primarily due to its Platinum Silver Metallic exterior color, the new Cayenne will be available exclusively in diesel and V6 variants. Deliveries will begin from February 2014, while order books are now open across Porsche India dealerships.
2015 Porsche Macan SUV has been officially revealed at the 2013 LA Auto Show today. To be offered in two trims, Macan S and Macan Turbo, both these will go on sale next year as 2015 model. To be ‘Made in Germany’ at their Leipzig plant, Macan is expected to be their most promising car in recent times.
Porsche Automobile has been instructed by a local consumer court, to compensate a buyer to the tune of INR 29 lakhs. This is in lieu of non delivery of a Porsche SUV, despite the fact that the company had received full payment for the same from the customer.
Porsche India has stated that all criminal allegations levied by former Porsche cars importer are unsubstantiated. Precision Motor India Pvt. Ltd. stated that Porsche AG had breached certain contractual obligations, and as a result they moved to court.
