Fans are keen on the 4th round of the 2014 FIA Formula 1 World Championship at Shanghai, China this weekend. And while you may not know what the 2 Chinese character refer to, you will see it on Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado’s Lotus F1 team cars. Lotus F1 and Renault have used a one-off livery. Renault will be written in its Mandarin form on the team’s V6 hybrid power unit, the Energy F1 2014.
2014 Virgin Money London Marathon yesterday saw Renault as its official car provider. The marathon is a great fundraising opportunity too as runners embark on a 26.2-mile journey through London’s iconic streets and top class world athletes participate each year.

Drive 4B, a new RCI Banque growth plan for 2014-2016 capitalizes on achievements made and finds its base in Renault’s transformation. The strategy is focussed to benefit Renault Alliances and is concerted to infuse Renault’s growth plan “Drive the Change”.
Renault has exceeded its 2011-2013 objective and delivered €2.5 billion in cumulative free cash flow. Efforts are now being concerted to “Drive the Change” to be measured in 2017 and entails generating 50 billion euros in consolidated turnover, and to reach an operating margin greater than 5% of turnover with positive free cash flow each year.
In 2013, Renault has invested a total of €12 million in 330 citizenship initiatives in 36 countries, either directly or with partners. Most of these actions concerned road safety education, helping people find a place in society through mobility and education, and equality of opportunity.
Ford Motors have extensive plans where sourcing engines from India is concerned. A major base for export of Figo and EcoSport, Ford Motors hopes to source new generation small capacity petrol engines called Dragon from its India base. On similar lines, Renault too is working on something similar. Their research unit in Chennai will become source of a new 986cc petrol engine called B4D, for global market.
